Bash, Double Swing, Double Throw, Frenzy, Tectonic Slam, Carnage, Berserk and Whirlwind now have a small amount of added flat damage/level to make +skills a bit more useful and smooth out the leveling process.
Howl
- Has been reworked into a short-range cone effect that does physical damage
- Synergy bonuses from all shout based skills
War Cry
- Now deals a small echoing shockwave from each target hit for a percentage of the skills damage
- Skill curve has been redone
- Synergy bonus extended to include the other Shout-based skills
- Does not stun
Battle Cry
- No longer reduces enemy defense
- Now reduces enemy physical damage reduction
- These changes also apply to the 2H Act 5 merc that uses Battle Cry
- Capped lowering enemy damage to 50%.
- Removed Battle Cry from being castable while shifted.
Shout
- Duration synergy extended to include all Shout-based skills
- Changed from 100% base Defense and 10%/lvl to 50% base and 5% per level.
Battle Orders
- Duration synergy extended to include all Shout-based skills
Battle Command

Deadly Treasures (Replaced Mace Mastery)
- Replaces Mace Mastery
- Gain 25 + 4% per level MF
- Gain 41.25 + 6.6% per level GF
BO HP buff stacking with all the other available HP% buffs and the increased life gained through the mod meant it provided an extraordinary amount of life in some cases.
- HP/Mana/Stamina baseline changed from 35% to 10%.
- HP/Mana/Stamina per level changed from 3% at all levels to 5% per base level and 1% per soft level.

Melee Mastery (Replaced Sword Mastery)
- Melee Mastery has condensed Sword, Axe, Mace, Polearm, and Spear Mastery into one Skill
Throwing Mastery
- Required level to 1 from 6
Shield Mastery (Replaced Axe Mastery)
- Increases Faster Block Rate
- Increases Chance to Block %
- Defense% baseline changed from 30% to 10%.
- Defense% per level changed from 10% at all levels to 10% per base level and 3% per soft level.
- Diminishing returns max decreased from 80% to 50%.
Melee mastery provides a ton of damage% and attack rating% as well as crit chance. Due to how the diminishing returns formula works, you hit near max crit chance after only a few levels.
This change incentivizes Barbarians to put points into it (if you were melee you already did), and limits its full power as an oskill.
- Crit chance changed from diminishing returns up to 35% to 10% baseline + 1% per base level.
- Each skill requires a throwing weapon and doesn't use a second throwing weapon though they can be used while dual-wielding.
Unstoppable Force (Replaces Pole-Arm Mastery)
- Level 1
- High weapon damage, slow moving projectile that pierces enemies and always hits
- Hits the same enemy multiple times
Winters Gambit (Replaces Spear-Mastery)
- Level 12
- Throws multiple projectiles that travel for a short distance ignoring collision and then home in on random "nearby" enemies and zips to them to deal weapon damage and cold damage
- Inspired by Storm Crows from Median by Brother Laz
- Skill that engages you and rewards positioning, don't hug the monster unless it is alone if you want to hit it. The skill likes to chase further enemies.
Chasm Break (Replaces Increased Stamina)
- Level 24
- Throw a weapon that appears to teleport into an enemy and causes of rocks to fall on them for a short period dealing periodic weapon damage to enemies nearby the target
- Credit to ESR celestialray for the missiles.txt entry and Median by Brother Laz for the inspiration from Rock Shower
- Reduced life steal efficiency for skill to 10%.
- Character sheet reflects weapon damage alone until synergies are applied on throw.
Madawcs Fury (Replaces Grim Ward)
- Level 30
- Enhances player throwing damage
- Adds flat cold damage to attacks
- Enhances AR
- Gives you a cool glow created for the skill
Double Swing
- Required level is now 1
- Synergies have changed to Double Throw and Frenzy
Stun →Tectonic Slam
- Replaces Stun Skill
- Tectonic Slam slams your target and causes a shockwave that unearths the ground, damaging the target and enemies behind it
- Life steal added to skill at 10% efficiency.
- Tectonic Slam requires a "Slam" weapon. Slam weapons include: Two-handed Swords, Maces, Axes, Polearms, or Staves
- Unaffected by Slow Missiles
- Fires 8 rows of spikes that deal 100% of weapon damage
- Has a 20% damage synergy with Bash

- Does not work while shifted
- Checks AR for missile hits.
Leap
- Baseline minimum distance increased from 4 to 8 (as in D2R 2.4)
- Speed of the leap motion increased to 175% (as in D2R 2.4)
- Leap now has a minimum jump height and duration
- Tooltip updated to now display Knockback Radius
- Tooltip updated to now display Leap motion speed
- Leap gains +5% speed from itself as synergy
- Leap is now uninterruptible
Leap Attack
- Speed of the leap motion increased to 175% (as in D2R 2.4)
- Leap synergy added to Leap Attack. Increases leap motion by +2%
- Leap Attack now has a minimum jump height and duration
- Attack Rating baseline increased from 50% to 100%
- Attack Rating per level increased from 15% to 20%
- Tooltip updated to now display Leap motion speed
- The Barbarian now deals extra physical damage to surrounding enemies within a range of 4.6 yards when landing from a Leap Attack. Damage scales per level
- Leap synergy bonus applies to the AoE damage in addition to the attack (added +10% damage from Whirlwind synergy for it to not fall off too quickly)
- Increased mana cost of Leap Attack from 9 to 10
- Leap Attack will be performed even when targeting adjacent enemies (used to perform a basic attack)
- Leap Attack is now uninterruptible
Concentrate → Carnage
- Reworked into a new skill named carnage which spawns a gore filled tornado when you strike an enemy and uses their bones as projectiles
- Tornado is still visual only and spawns on swing.
- Spikes spawn on weapon swing instead of after tornado animation finishes.
- Swing is full weapon damage.
- Fires 8 spikes out in a small nova that then seek out nearby enemies and strike them (each projectile carries 50% weapon damage)
- Has a 10% damage synergy with Bash and Berserk
- Does not work while shapeshifted
- Reduced life steal efficiency for skill to 10%.
Whirlwind
- AR/lvl for Whirlwind bumped to match Berserk and Tectonic Slam
- Damage scaling per level increased to 10% from 5%.
- Synergy increased to 5% from 4%.
- Note: Due to how much of this skill is hardcoded, we are unable to make any major changes to it
