¶ Gameplay Changes
¶ Charm Weight System
There is a weight system to restrict the number of charms placed in the main inventory. If you reach charm weight 41 or more then your maximum mana is set to 0. You can check weight in the advanced stats panel. This applies to all Charms.
- Small Charms have a weight of 1
- Large charms have a weight of 2
- Grand Charms have a weight of 3
¶ Difficulty
- Normal difficulty is not meant to be challenging, but more an introduction for the player to learn about their class changes. Do not expect a tough time through normal.
- Bosses and side quests may have additional enemies and will preset a challenge if you venture to their areas early.

- Nightmare difficulty will feel the same until around mid Act 3 where the level starts to ramp up to accommodate the new Hell changes. By the end of Act 5 and killing Baal the area level is around 69-70 and Nightmare Terror Zone level cap is increased to 80 to facilitate farming before attempting to tackle Hell difficulty.
- Nightmare Terror zones drop up to a CHAM rune.
- Sunder charms can also be obtained from Nightmare terror zones.
- Hell difficulty has been scaled up from the original game to encompass levels 90+ as well as terror zone level cap increased to 99. It is recommended to farm in NM TZ until 85+ and getting resistances situated and your build a goal before attempting Hell.
- Monster HP is about 4X higher and damage is about 1.5X higher on all player counts.

- Terror Zones encompass the entire act and rotate every hour. Cows, stony field, and tristram are located in act 4 terror zone since it felt empty. There is also a cow waypoint you can activate after your first visit to the secret level.
- Cow portal only requires wirt's leg and has unlimited uses, but the original recipe works too.
¶ Rune drops
Rune drops are greatly increased across the entire treasure class/loot table.
- Countess rune drop table revised, highest rune is now:
- Normal: THUL
- Nightmare: KO
- Hell: VEX
- Countess Rune drop table has been extended to other Super Uniques:
- Act 2 - Halls of the Dead: Bloodwitch the Wild
- Act 3 - Ruined Temple: Battlemaiden Sarina
- Act 4 - River of Flame: Hephasto (Countess Table +1, Normal: DOL, Nightmare: UM, Hell: LO)
- Act 5 - Frozen River: Frozenstein (Countess Table +1, Normal: DOL, Nightmare: UM, Hell: LO)

¶ Items
Check the website pages to look up runewords, sets and unique items.
Item names have been updated to show both their item level ( XX ) and quality:
- [N] = Normal, [X] = Exceptional, [E] = Elite
Many miscellaneous items drop as 'stacks' (the + sign in the top-left is a visual indicator).
Stacks store up to 100 quantity at a time.
The stack drops pertain to non-DLC only, while they can still be made in DLC, items drop as singles for use in the new tabs.
You can purchase two utility items from Blacksmith vendors that allows you to retrieve socketed items from weapons and armor.
Rune Pliers work on Runewords and any other socketed items. Jewel Pliers only work on non-Runeword items.
Cube Recipes: Check the Cube Recipes Tab for a bunch of useful recipes to use while levelling!
Item Enchants: Items can be enchanted a number of times to add various properties. Check the Item Enchants Tab.
Item Crafting: You can craft powerful items to help you level, or max your character's potential! Check the Item Crafting Tab.
Twisted Essences have been replaced by Socketing Orbs.
Jewels can be used to 'socket-punch' items when you want a specific number of sockets (as long as the item supports it).

- Note that number of open sockets is dependent on the ilvl of the item
All Elite Helms can roll up to 4 sockets in Reimagined!
Melee Characters can obtain a Small Charm ( Collin's Might ) that makes your melee attacks deal splash damage
The charm drops from Corpsefire in the Den of Evil on normal (once per game, and only if you don't have one in inventory already).
It can be upgraded a number of times via cube recipes to deal more damage and have less penalties.
¶ Quality of Life
¶ Rune Stacks:
Cube a single rune by itself to convert it into a stack.
Cube a rune stack to create a single, useable rune.
You can upgrade two runes to a single rune of the next tier higher.
Cube two single runes, or a rune stack (qty 2 or more), and a TP tome.
- Reduces stack quantity by 2.
- Your tome is also returned full!
You can downgrade a rune to one of the next tier lower.
Cube a rune, or rune stack, with an ID Tome.
- Reduces stack quantity by 1.
- Your tome is also returned full!
¶ Storage:
You can store all of your Gems in a gem bag.
- You can use the bag directly in lots of crating recipes without having to take gems out beforehand!
Up to 99 Gems can be added to a Gem bag at a time.
- The Gem Bag can store up to 65,000 gems.
- Gem grabbers are used to retrieve gems from the bag. Gem grabbers can be purchased from most vendors.
Infernal Keys can be stored in a Keychain, and extracted with the appropriate key grabber.
- Grabbers can be purchased at many vendors.
¶ Suggested Farming Areas
Due to the changes loot drops in the mod, it is often more beneficial to farm in Terror Zones in Nightmare or Hell than to just teleport to and farm specific bosses like in vanilla. Here are some high density zones separated by act.

- Durance of Hate up to and including Mephisto due to council surrounding him

- River of Flame (Hephasto and LTs with him if you can kill Kudaii, skip otherwise)
- Chaos Sanctuary
- The Moo Moo Farm (Cow Level, Leg Only in Cube when Baal quest complete for difficulty)
- Act 5
- Rectifier & Shenk (Both right beside Frigid WP and often have multiple uniques nearby.)
- Halls of Pain and Halls of Vaught
- Worldstone Keep and Throne of Destruction (Baal Waves and Baal are underwhelming for time spent but those areas still have great density.)
